It is hands down the best shampoo that I have found for Reagan and Thatcher. It creates this really rich foam that allows me to use less product and build up a thick lather that leaves their coat soft, voluminous, and flowy.

The wooden-handled stainless steel Mars Coat King Double-wide De-Matting Undercoat Grooming Rake Stripper Tool is one of my very most indispensible tools for grooming Reagan and Thatcher.

Since English Springer Spaniels are supposed to have a more natural look, I find that just giving them a good bath with BioSilk for Dogs Silk Therapy Moisturizing Shampoo and a good raking with the Mars Coat King after they have dried off is really more than sufficient grooming for everyday appearances if you aren't preparing to enter your English Springer Spaniel in a dog show that day.

This tool very effectively removes all of the excess dead hair in their undercoat. When their hair dries I first start using it wherever there are ripples in the fur on their backs or stray whisps, and it takes them right out - leaving them with a beautiful smooth coat. Then I just keep raking their backs until the amount of fur 

Note: Avoid using this tool to rake your English Springer Spaniel's chest and stomach. It will remove their trademark fluffy chests and flowy skirts. Use it on the back, neck, and on the sides down their rib cages to create a look that is tight on top and feathery everywhere else.

Once Reagan and Thatcher are washed, dried, and raked, they are ready to impress and invite many compliments from adoring walkers and joggers on their strolls around Houston's Memorial Park.
